Sheila Day Counseling

I specialize in helping people struggling with substance misuse and trauma. Together, we identify your treatment needs, based on your goals and preferences. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Drug and Alcohol Consultant, and DOT Substance Abuse Professional with over 30 years of experience providing individual and group therapy services. I am knowledgeable, trained, licensed, and certified by the state of Michigan to evaluate and diagnose a substance-use disorder. As a certified counselor, I will assess your situation. My treatment assessment will take into consideration your current life status as well as your goals and expectations. A complete evaluation requires honesty. Together we will determine your preferences, past treatment history, family history, medication history, belief systems, physical health status, employment, education history, and any legal situations you may be facing. My goal is to get you back to your life as quickly as possible and to prevent any further negative behaviors from disrupting your life.
